The rulebook catalogue
Every rulebook for sale is a signed export from a real Bot Analysis Arena bot — plain enough to read over coffee. Every bot on the Arena is listed below, grouped by how it trades. A young bot carries its verdict date on the card. A bot whose book is short-side today is marked SHORT: running a short file needs a margin account with shorting enabled and a Runner of v0.6.1 or newer, and the full short disclosure sits above the checkout box. The two Learner accounts have no file at all, and each says why. Here's what one actually looks like before you pick:
Buy-once pricing is $40/each · pick 1 or 2 — see the "Own a playbook" plan above. Snapshots, sold as snapshots — pick 1 or 2 rulebooks ($40 each); a 3-pack is coming
Pick at least one playbook to continue.
SHORT If your pick includes a file marked SHORT in the catalogue: This is a SHORT-side rulebook — it sells borrowed shares first and buys them back to close. Running it needs a margin account with shorting enabled at your broker; a cash account cannot run it at all. It only enters a symbol your broker reports as shortable and easy to borrow at that moment, so some signals simply will not trade when borrow supply is tight. After a short fills, the Runner attempts a protective buy-to-cover stop above your entry. Placement can fail and execution price is not guaranteed. A short's loss is not capped by what you put in, because the price it has to buy back at has no ceiling.

† Each playbook ships with the ~50-symbol universe it was actually evolved and proven on in the arena — the exact names its live record comes from. Every update refreshes that list. (The arena's wider ~1,000-stock discovery scan runs server-side to CHOOSE those names; your Runner trades the chosen list.)
The Runner app itself is a free download — grab the zip here any time, no sign-up. If you buy a playbook, your signed .playbook.json file and your license key appear on the confirmation page right after checkout and arrive by email (subject: "Your Playbook license key") — save that email; the key is what re-downloads your playbooks later via the update command. What you're buying
A playbook is a small file of trading rules — plain enough to read over coffee. No black box, no "trust us."
Exactly when it buys and when it sells, written as measurable conditions — trend, momentum, volatility. Pure math on public prices. No guessing, no vibes.
Every trade has a stop-loss, a profit target, and a time limit from the moment it opens. On top of that: a max number of positions, a size cap per trade, and a daily loss limit that halts new buying.
Each playbook is cryptographically signed, and its live track record — wins and losses — is public on the arena. You can also replay it against months of real past prices on your own machine before risking anything.
Where playbooks come from
Every bot on the Arena trades a practice account on real prices. Every playbook for sale is a survivor of this daily cycle:
Each bot trades its own rulebook all day. Every result lands on a public scoreboard we can't edit after the fact.
Daily, the AI reviews its own wins, losses, and the market's current mood — trending, choppy, or falling.
It proposes changes to its own playbook — the way you'd revise an essay, not start a new one.
The new rules only take over if they beat the current rules in testing. Weak rules usually get filtered out in testing before they ever trade — though a strategy that passes today can still fade if the market's character changes (see the System example below).
On your computer
The free Runner app repeats one honest loop. This part needs no AI at all — the rules are the machine.
Every 15 minutes it pulls live prices for its stock list — the same public data you'd see on any finance site.
For each stock it asks one question: do my buy conditions match right now? Yes or no — measured, not felt.
When a rule fires, it buys a measured slice — and writes down, at that same moment, the price where it will cut the loss and the price where it will take the profit.
Stop hit? Sell. Target hit? Sell. Held too long? Sell. The sell-rule fires? Sell. No exceptions, no "let's see."
Every action is logged in plain English, with the exact rule that caused it. You can always answer "why did it do that?"
ENTER XOM @ 165.11 · $10,000 · stop 162.05 · target 177.49 why: rule 1 of 3 fired — buy the low end of a sideways range
A real line from a real paper-mode run. This is the entire personality of the product: it shows its work.
How daily updates work
Nothing stops you from sharing a .playbook.json file — it's plain, signed JSON, and once you buy it, it's yours to copy. We don't pretend otherwise. What Live-Sync actually sells is what happens next: the arena keeps trading in public, keeps rewriting the rules against fresh conditions, and keeps a verified record you can check against reality. A copied file freezes on the day you copied it; a subscription keeps pace with every rewrite the arena adopts. During the beta, that means Live-Sync pulls whatever the arena has adopted within a day of that rewrite — when big news hits mid-day, or the market suddenly changes character, an AI can review and adjust right then, live on the public board, and your Runner catches up the next time it checks. Minutes-level sync — your Runner catching a mid-day adjustment that same afternoon — is the roadmap, not a promise we're making yet.
The marketSurprise Fed announcement. Stocks whipsaw.
The arenaThe event wakes the AI early. It reviews its playbook against the new conditions.
The arenaThe revised playbook beats the old one in testing and takes over. The update is published and signed — same-day, on the public scoreboard, whether or not you subscribe.
Your computer, during the betaRun the one-line update command any time — it pulls the newest signed copy, verifies the signature, and refuses anything that doesn't check out. Open trades keep their stops. While it's running, the Runner checks for the newest signed copy on its own once a day and swaps it in between cycles — you can also run `update` by hand any time to check sooner.
Your machine, your broker, your money — the arena's living brain, pulled in daily during the beta. On the roadmap, for tinkerers: an optional mode where you plug in your own AI account and once a day your AI tunes your copy to your own results, under the same prove-it-first rule. In development — free for founding subscribers when it ships; the product works fully without it.
Full transparency
The System Playbook is the arena's benchmark: a fixed rulebook that buys breakouts, never learns, and never updates — the measuring stick the AIs are trying to beat. Its current rank is read live below. Two things to know before the impressive number below: the record belongs to the full live System, and the file we sell is a snapshot of its core rules — not the whole library, and not that record. Here is the whole truth, the same way we publish it on the scoreboard:
Its rank among every bot on the Arena's since-start board is computed when this page loads.
−7.2%
Paper return of the same rules before the 27 July 2026 restart, in a different market.
That's the honest picture: same rules, different weather, opposite results. System has no defense mechanism when conditions turn — it can't rewrite itself, react to news, or notice the market changing character. That's also why it's sold one way only: as a one-time snapshot, the same $40 (or $20 founder price) as any other playbook — there's nothing to sync, because it will never change. It's in the storefront below as "The System Snapshot — core rules." One more piece of straight talk before you buy it: the live System is a whole library of setups, and the file you buy carries its core breakout and trend rules — Turtle and Darvas breakouts, VCP, Capital Guard, EMA reclaim, and RSI recovery — faithfully ported and verified, not the entire library. Setups you may have seen on the public record page that are not in this file include its Mean Reversion, Breakout Engine, Connors RSI(2) and Trend Pulse slots (no certified engine port yet) and its flow/earnings/hedge signals (they need data feeds your computer doesn't have). The record page shows which setups drove which trades, so you can see exactly what you are and aren't getting. The famous record above belongs to the full live System; your snapshot's own record starts the day you run it. Which rules hold up in which market is exactly the evidence the Arena collects — and the board says so either way. The since-start figure above is read live from the same public scoreboard the AIs are scored on; the earlier-regime figure is a fixed historical fact.
Risk, in the right order
No accounts, no money, no risk. The Runner trades make-believe dollars against live prices so you can watch it think before anything is real.
Real orders, fake money. Connect a free paper-trading account at Alpaca, a US broker. Same loop, real order flow, still zero risk.
Your money, your keys, your call. You must set every risk cap yourself, and the Runner makes you type I UNDERSTAND THE RISK every single time it starts. There is no way to reach real money by accident.
Skin in the game
This isn't theoretical. The operator's own capped real account mirrors the Tactical · Grok bot live, right now, capped at $3,000 — every result public, wins and losses both.
Setup
If you can install a game, you can install this. One free standard tool, one folder, one launch script.
Install Node.js (a free, standard tool millions of apps run on — version 20 or newer), unzip the Runner anywhere, and drop your playbook file in the same folder.
Windows: start.cmd
Mac/Linux: ./start.sh
Type verify first — it shows you, in plain English, exactly what your playbook does.
Replay the playbook against months of real historical prices — on your machine, from public data. Don't trust our numbers; make your own.
backtest --symbol NVDA
Starts in dry-run mode. It reports every decision and saves a full local ledger. Climb to paper — then real — whenever you decide.

Honest answers
Honestly: we don't know which holds up longer — that's the evidence the Arena collects. The same rules lost 7.2% (paper) before the 27 July 2026 restart. Check its current rank on the Arena before you choose.
Pricing goes to the regular rate — $40 for a playbook, $20/month or $160/year for Live-Sync — for anyone after seat 10. If you buy as a Founder, your discounted price is locked in for as long as you keep that playbook or keep the subscription active; it never reverts.
The logic will — a test in the Runner proves it makes the identical decisions the arena's engine makes on identical data. Your fills won't match penny-for-penny: different account size, different timing, different broker. Expect the shape to match, not every cent. Anyone who promises exact replication is lying to you.
We do not receive your brokerage keys, account number, balances, positions or trades. Your keys stay in your local config and are sent only to your broker. The Runner also contacts price, optional AI, download and activation services. Brokerage execution requires our account-binding startup check: hashed account and ledger-path identifiers, random installation and ledger identifiers, and a random binding token are registered with us. This enforces one Runner per account; it is not analytics. A failed check prevents startup. See the requirements and transfer limitations.
Your most recent playbook keeps working forever — it's a file you own. It simply stops receiving updates, which means it slowly becomes a snapshot of the market's past instead of a response to its present.
Yes — it's readable JSON and it's yours. If you change it, the Runner still runs it; it just labels it "modified — not an authentic export," so you always know whether you're running the arena's version or your own.
No, and we don't know — nobody does. This is software plus published strategies with a public track record. Markets involve real risk of loss, past results don't predict future results, and the losing days are on the scoreboard next to the winning ones. Start in dry-run mode. Never trade money you can't afford to lose.
Any Windows, Mac, or Linux machine that can run Node.js 20 or newer — most computers from the last few years already can. It needs to be on during market hours to trade.
Yes, while it trades. It checks the market every 15 minutes and only acts while it's open — a sleeping laptop or stopped program places no new trades. Existing broker orders may remain active, but protection is not guaranteed: stop placement can fail, fractional-share stops can expire that day, and prices can gap. Stopping the Runner does not close your positions. Use a reliable machine, preserve its original ledger and account binding, and supervise your broker account.
Trading stocks involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. The playbooks are published strategies with public records, not personalized investment advice; no performance is promised or implied, and past results do not predict future results. You alone control your accounts, your keys, and the decision to trade paper or real money. If you are unsure, stay in dry-run mode — it's free forever. Read the full Terms of Use & Sale and Risk Disclosure — every purchase requires agreeing to both.
