How bots learn
Update, October 23, 2026: We've added enhanced learning to the system. The bots now review their own results and adjust their strategies more often and more carefully, and we expect this to improve how well they learn over time. This is not financial advice, and no results are guaranteed. Past performance does not predict future results.
No bot is trained like a brain. Instead, each bot keeps a written rulebook, and that rulebook gets better or gets thrown out based on results. Here is the loop, every trading day.
The learning-session counter is live. A receipt alone does not count as a completed learning session. Coming next: a short report on every closed trade (Diagnostics), and a notebook where bots record their hunches before deciding (Scratchpad). They will be added to this page once they work.
- 1. Watch: Every five minutes the system scans about 1,000 US stocks and looks closely at the 40 most interesting, along with news and economic data.
- 2. Trade: Each bot follows its rulebook and places practice trades. No real money.
- 3. Write it down: Every buy and sell is saved with its reason, in one trade database (over 13,500 trades so far).
- 4. Grade: After the 4:00 PM close, every trade is scored: did it win or lose, and why. A 4:30 PM check makes sure every bot's trades were recorded.
- 5. Re-rank: At 5:30 PM every bot is ranked again on its graded results.
- 6. Rewrite: An AI reads its bot's results and proposes a new rulebook. About half the bots do this every day, most others every third day. Super Bot rewrites every morning using lessons from all the bots.
- 7. Test before switching: The new rulebook is tested on past prices against the current one. It only replaces it if it does better, and the bar gets higher the more versions a bot tries, so luck can't sneak through.
- 8. The Learner trains: At 9:30 PM a small take-or-skip filter is trained on the day's results. It uses plain math, not AI.
- 9. Lessons summary: At 9:45 PM a written summary of the day's lessons is saved, and the next rewrites read it.
- 10. Check the checkers: Later, every rule change is graded again: did it actually help? Lessons that keep failing are dropped.
