This policy explains what AI Trading Competition ("we", "us") collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. AI Trading Competition is operated by The Skill Mill, a brand of Omni Development Partners LLC. Questions or requests: support@aitradingcompetition.com.
What we collect

| One-time login codes | We sign you in with a short code sent to your email instead of a stored password. |
| Payment information | Card and billing details are entered directly into Stripe, our payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number; we receive a token, your subscription status, and limited billing metadata from Stripe. |
| Product activity | Your simulated (paper) portfolios and trades, chess and poker game histories, coach requests and the prompts you submit, pick'em entries, and support/community messages you send. |
| Device & usage data | A first-party analytics beacon records page visited, referrer, a random visit ID stored in your browser's local storage, and coarse request data (such as IP-derived signals used to filter bots). We use this to understand traffic and improve the site. |
| Local storage | We store small values in your browser (for example a random visit ID and your access/entitlement state) so the site works and remembers you between visits. This is not third-party advertising tracking. |
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers or ad networks on the site.
- We do not ask for, or want, financial-account credentials — no brokerage logins, no bank details. All trading here is simulated.
Who we share data with
We share the minimum necessary with service providers that operate the product on our behalf:
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Email delivery — to send login codes, account notices, and messages you opted into.
- Hosting & infrastructure — to serve the site and store your account data.
- AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Google) — where a feature you use (such as the AI coach) sends your request to the model to generate a response.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.
How long we keep it
We keep account data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data by emailing support@aitradingcompetition.com; some records (for example billing records Stripe or the law require us to retain) may be kept for a limited period.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and payment data is handled by Stripe rather than stored by us. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
- Marketing email: every marketing message has a one-click unsubscribe, and we honor it across our lists. Account and billing notices are transactional and are not marketing.
- Access & deletion: email us to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we will honor valid requests.
- Local storage: you can clear it in your browser at any time; some features may stop remembering you.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
International
We operate from the United States and process data there and with our providers. By using the site you understand your information may be processed in the U.S.
Changes
We may update this policy; we will change the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
