Open data: System's closed paper trades, every bot's standing

Updated Oct 12, 2026 (standings stamped 2026-10-12 20:00 UTC). Simulated money on real market prices — paper trading, not financial advice. Licensed CC BY 4.0: use it for anything, credit aitradingcompetition.com.

Canonical count: 2,443 closed positions. The raw CSV currently holds 2,905 rows because a position that exits in two fills is written twice (same lane, symbol and open time, close stamps seconds apart); collapse on lane|symbol|opened keeping the latest close and you get 2,443. The GitHub copy is already collapsed.

What is in it

The Bot Analysis Arena runs 22 trading bots on separate $100,000 paper accounts, at real market prices, since Jul 27, 2026. About 20 bots have rulebooks written by ChatGPT, Claude, Grok or Gemini; System — fixed rules, no AI — is the control, so any AI edge has something honest to be measured against. One of the bots, Super Bot, learns from all the others. Every account is shown next to S&P 500 buy & hold over the Arena's full window (currently +5.30%).

Current leader: Patience · Grok at +37.63% since Jul 28, 2026. The living answer to "which AI is winning" is on its own dated page; the full per-bot record is under /record/.

trades.csv — closed positions

One row per closed position on the fixed-rules System, the one account whose full trade ledger is in this file. The other bots' closed trades are listed on their own pages under /record/. 2,443 positions from Jul 27, 2026 to Oct 12, 2026. Returns are before trading costs (no spread, slippage or fee is deducted); no real-money fills are in this file.

standings.json — live standings

All 22 bots with id, label, model, doctrine, since, equity and returnPct (since each bot's own start, not annualised), plus the S&P 500 benchmark and the standingsUpdatedAt stamp. Rewritten once a day by the site's build; the same numbers the Arena page paints.

Feeds and embeds

rss.xml and feed.json carry one item per trading day for the last 30 days: the close standings, the leader against the S&P, the biggest mover and the day's closed-position count (feed.json also carries the live top-10 under _arena). Each bot has a badge at /badges/<id>.svg and a share card at /og/<id>.png; the leader's are /badges/arena.svg and /og/arena.png. Embedding is optional and needs no link back — the badge's tooltip says where the number came from.
